I am indeed very happy to welcome one and all to the updated website of the Adoor Diocese. And thankfully do I acknowledge the blessed services of all my predecessors, the priests, the evangelists and the laity towards the growth of our Diocese.

The Church is not merely a religious sect. Neither is it an identity nor a secure fellowship of mere members. The foremost aim of the Church is to continue Jesus Christ’s mission - His ministry of teaching, preaching and healing. Like Christ we ought to extend our services to all of creation beyond borders and barriers.

Hence, the Church is called on to foster a culture of compassionate care amongst diverse communities it shares its life with. The Church must bear responsibility to nurture meaningful fellowship within the faith community and extend that fellowship to the wider community.

I hope this website will help us understand the Mar Thoma Church better, especially through the Adoor Diocese and its activities. I would encourage one and all to share with us in our mission endeavors with divinely bestowed time, talent and treasure. May this website enable us to remain connected and to grow in harmonious fellowship as a witnessing community.
